No charge going to the battery.
Ok, my fellow Mac users. I got one for ya.
I came home last night to do a bit of editing, just to see that my MagSafe charger was amber, (last I can remember it was green).
I open my laptop, boot it up to see that it had 15% battery life, but no lightning bolt to indicate that it was charging.
Before I could do anything else the life finally ran out and now it’s dead
I disconnected and plugged in the MagSafe and it lit green, but when I press the power button all I get is an icon of a battery with one red bar and a lightning bolt underneath it. When I discharge the MagSafe I get the same icon but underneath is a magnet = ⚡️ telling me to connect the charger. And when I do it goes green and back to the other icon, but will not boot up.
I have done the SMC reset (multiple times) and it forces the MagSafe to turn from green to amber, but then I don’t get anything on my screen at all.
I've disconnected the battery, then plugged in the charger to see if it will boot or even turn the fans, but I get nothing.
I have an appointment with the Apple Store, but wanted to see if anyone else has had similar issues.

Additionally, I left the laptop unplugged to drain it entirely, and plugged the MagSafe back in and it immediately goes green until I force it with the SMC reset to turn amber. Still no boot up.
I've had no issues with this laptop, it’s been amazing, save for this.
It’s a month old refurbished Mac from Mac of all Trades. Inside looks immaculate, not a spot of dust. No swelling of the battery or burn marks anywhere. And I was able to get into my Mac before it died, so I don’t think it’s the logicboard. But I’m no expert.
anyway. Just trying to give as much detail as possible so everyone has as much information about my situation.
Thanks, Jason.
