Fixing keyboard issues on warranty – after liquid got in?

Hello there,

so I spilled coffee (black, no milk or sugar thank god) over my cute MBA. Panicked, tuned it off, dried it. For some days it didn’t charge reliably on the thunderbolt ports, but after more drying it’s actually fine.

Now however, I see more of the typical butterfly keyboard issues, specifically in the space keys. Pressing space gets me between 0 and 2 spaces.

What do you think will happen if I turn it in to the Apple store to try to get it reworked on warranty? Would you advise to open the thing to some extend and see if there’s anything to clean before I do it?
