A new version of the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 was announced in February 2019, with Android 9.0 Pie (upgradable to Android 10), the Exynos 7904 chipset and an IPS display with an unchanged resolution. The rear flash is removed, S-Pen support is dropped and the battery is smaller, while the front camera is upgraded to 5 MP and the speakers are now stereo. Models numbers: SM-T515 & SM-T510.

Is my screen broken or something else

hi i had a tablet t515 which had a broken screen which I bought to repair. I stupidly without thinking took my screen out of my tab a t510 and when I went to put it on the t515 it doesn't work and screen is now blank on both devices. I am wondering does it seem like the screen is broken even know it doesn't look cracked or anything. Or is it something else wrong with it.

Also when I plug it into pc it still recognises the tablet

@monkey64 sounds to me like you shortened out the LCD. I’d suggest that you get at least one proper replacement and see what the new screen will show.

If those do not work you will have to check your PCB’s. Of course you need to post some good pictures of your boards (both sides) so we can mark the components that need to be tested, for you.
