Hello,

I asked iFixit so very long time ago about MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Mid 2009 maximum upgrade.

He confirmed it can upgrade to 16GB. (I sad about max RAM can up to 8 GB (2x4 GB)

Today I will upgrade my Mac to 16GB but its 3 beeps.

I remove 1 slot of 8 GB, its so 3 beep won’t boot. I put old 2 RAM (2x4GB). it can normal boot.

This problem about OS-X 10.8.5 I never update newer version?

No! Your system can’t support that much RAM you are limited to 8 MB (2x 4MB SO-DIMM’s)
