are the connectors the same ? can I install an iphone 3g connector 3 on a 3gs logic board ? or vice versa?

Yes. The #3 for 3G and 3GS are the same. Ribbon Cable #3, Logic Board Connector #3, the earpiece speaker, the metal cover, all are the same for 3G and 3GS.
