Have you proved that the problem is with the headphones and not the device providing the audio to the headphones i.e. try using them with another device, mobile phone or computer which has a combo earphone /microphone socket?
It appear to be standard wired earphones/microphone type of headset so if there is no audio then either the headset's cable or the plug is faulty.
