My left analog is moving to the left without touching it

I bought a faulty ps4 controller off ebay and it was working fine, however the left analog stick was slighty sticky so i decided to buy a replacement analog stick and take the old one off. I followed the guide on here and unsoldered the contact points and removed the old broken analog. Then put in the new one, resoldered and it looked neat and tidy.

i plugged it in and now its constantly moving to the left even though I’m not touching it. The soldering looks good which i dont understand?

please can someone help me?

Soldering is too fine a procedure for the naked eye to say if its proper. But even if you did a great job, there is still the possibility that the solder you used has slightly different properties than the original circuit (Ohms, V, A), which may lead to missinterpreting of the analog input.

Or the thumbstick is faulty. You could switch them over and test.
