Poor battery life (after replacement)

MacBook Pro 13" Retina Display metà 2014

Modello A1502 / processore dual core Intel i7 2,6 GHz (Turbo Boost fino a 3,1 GHz) o 2,8 GHz (Turbo Boost fino a 3,3 GHz) con 4 MB di cache L3 condivisa.

Poor battery life (after replacement)

Just two days ago I replaced my Macbook pro 13” mid 2014 battery (with the ifixit battery) however this battery still only lasts a max of 2 hours and shuts down at 20% .

I correctly calibrated the battery settings according to the instructions. Is this a common problem with ifixit batteries and is there a way to either fix this problem or request a refund?

Hi,

Have you checked your systems activity monitor as it is possible that you have a sensor issue that could be draining the battery? Is the fan running full speed all the time?

Install this gem of an App CoconutBattery take a snapshot of the main window and post it here for us to see Aggiungere immagini ad una domanda

As far as iFixit batteries, they do their best to check them, sadly some bad ones sneak through. You have a very long product warranty on the battery so if it is bad they will replace it. Lets get a firm handle on things to make sure you don't have another problem. As an example knock chargers can damage your system and cause it not to charge the battery properly Lacking safety features, cheap MacBook chargers create big sparks

Hi,
