1 Can I use the internal optical drive as an internal USB port?
Hello! I use a wireless USB external mouse with my 2012 MacBook Pro. I’ve seen the mod that allows you to replace the optical drive with a second SSD. But that got me thinking. Is it possible to use a similar mod to have an internal USB port? I couldn’t imagine using my MacBook without the mouse but I find it annoying to always have an adapter hogging up my USB port. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
