Can't get past introduction level. Game broke!

I can’t seem to get past the introduction level on LittleBigPlanet 2. I just reset my PS3, so now it’s time to play the whole game again. But, I can’t seem to get past the introduction. After the introduction is finished, it shows the saving icon on a blank screen, meaning I can’t get past the introduction. Please help me with this!
