S7 Edge Phone got really hot and then screen turned Black. Attempted to charge and only have Circle with charge bolt. Left on charge for 2 hours and no power. Attempted Forced Restart but screen goes black and then the Bolt returns.
Took off cover and Dis/Reconnected Battery.
No Changes.
Ordered New Battery…
Back ordered 2 weeks.
Any Ideas?

It sounds like the battery. Did you test the battery and see if it was bad? You can get a battery from fixez.com and it's in stock and they ship FedEx ground.
Sorry they might have sent one for a regular S7 and not the S7 edge. It could have accidentally sent you the wrong one or it could have been misboxed. As soon as they get in touch with you I would have them send you the correct battery and a call tag for the wrong battery. Sorry for your inconvenience I'm ifixit will make it right.

i ordered replacement battery and after successfully removing battery, all old glue and setting new glue guides and installing Battery,,,,the cable connector Plug is NOT the same as the Old Plug. How can this be? The old plug still locks into place but the new plug doesn’t lock in.0
It doesn’t make sense that there are different connectors on these replacement batteries?
Ordered battery Kit thru IFixIt but CS is too busy…waiting for Call Back.
