I broke some of the pins on the logic board connector. What now?

Replacing lightning connector assembly. When I was putting it back together, trying to connect it to the logic board, I damaged some of the pins on the logic board. What now? Can I (or someone) replace the connector? Or do I need a new logic board now?

You can send it off to a board repair specialist like iPad Rehab or STS Telecom to replace that broken connector. Check them out on youtube to see how it’s done!

Thanks! Looking into them now. Not my first iPhone repair, but I should've figured this repair was a little bit too much of a gamble for this amateur.

@pphenow mistakes happen, it's a part of learning and the charge port is something that a lot of people can DIY. Are you looking into getting into cellphone repair?

This connector can be replaced, although it is difficult. You would need to send it to a microsoldering specialist. I would recommend this option rather than replacing the motherboard. This way you can keep all your data on the phone.
