Why is the screen so dim and touch screen wont work?

So i did a battery and a screen replacement and the screen turned on but was very dim my dad kind-of threw it onto the table and it lit up but touch screen doesn’t work. the screen went back to being really dim and still wont work. If you guys could help me i would really appreciate it thank you.

Does the original screen have this issue? If it does now, check if anything near the connector is damaged

Ok I'll check and will that solve the touch screen issue
