The new battery lasts very little

For some time the original battery replaced just over a year ago has started to last very little. After about 2 hours, in fact, it was already discharged (with a non-intensive use of the PC) when before the duration was around 4 hours.

So I decided to change the battery of my MacBook Pro with the kit proposed by IFixit but even after the change the duration has not changed.

The hardware test returns the error PPT0004 and I don't know if it is a true error or due to the fact that the battery is not original.

How can I check if the new battery is fully functional?

Checking the battery consumption from the system I do not see particular anomalies of applications that can consume more energy than expected.

Anyone have any ideas?

UPDATE 4/28/20

That battery is excellent. Apple is giving you that error to tell you that the battery was not bought from Apple. You can recalibrate it by allowing the battery to run all the way down and then fully recharging it.

I can't use MacOs, i use Windows10. As soon as possible wil try to reinstal MacOs for testing if the problem is due to operating system or not and then i will send to you the result of te program that you have sended, but i think ther is an hardware problem, not software, because i have install windows from scratch and the issue is not solved.

The reason Mayer is asking you to install the CoconutBattery is to diagnose the hardware aspect of your system. The tools we use only work under macOS not Windows.
