Home buttton not working
.So i replaced the whole front screen,kept original home button and top ribbons,snapped everything back in and now no responsive home Button? Why is this?

Sometimes the ribbon cable within the display can be defective. If the old screen still works, you can test it with that one to confirm whether it’s that ribbon cable or not. Go back and check all connections. Where did you get the replacement from?

From amazon,just cuz the short delivery time,pretty much,otherwise id use ifixit
Parts from Amazon, eBay, Craigslist, Wish, and AliExpress are junk in general as they're fulfilled by anyone with access to poor quality parts. I'd send it back and order from Mobile Sentrix.
Really,yeah ive gotten some defective parts but the return policy and delivery time is more the reason. However I don't really know of any besides the one you mentioned wich i will give them a try,thank you.

Not too many home buttons in a 'car and truck' that you originally selected as the "device" that you're asking about

Once more,i gave the wrong # , the CORRECT #A1688. I still have this problem as well,if anyone can help if be really appreciated. TY
