Hi, are there any online tech-savvy services that can answer questions I have of different topics, such as in computers and phones, in a Q&A sort of way (besides JustAnswer)? Consider what you are asking here. The people you want to talk too are often busy trying to make a living, While there are a few which go the extra mile producing content on what do. They really don’t have the time to spend talking to one person for a length of time.
I would encourage you to spend the time digesting what they have produced, search YouTube and even here, I think you’ll find there is a common theme to all of them. Proper diagnosing, testing and understanding the product or circuit involved.

Research is the key! Only you know what you know and what you don’t! Do you have the needed skills and tools to do what you are trying to do? Is the investment worth it? Is there options which will get you to the solution which might appear to be more expensive, but could be cheaper as the needed gear costs needed to repair need to be also added into the equation.
