Replacement Screen Won't Turn On . Bricked A Replacement Screen?
Hey guys!
So I’ll cut to the chase because I’m pretty stressed right now. I was doing a screen replacement on my SE and as I was reassembling I connected the 3 top connectors and the battery and did a screen test. The screen lit up and asked for my password but I noticed that the screen did not respond to my touch. Noticing that one the 3 top connectors had come undone (the bottom-most one), I tried to turn the phone off. However, since the screen did not respond to my touch, I couldn’t turn it off the normal way and foolishly just went at the problem by disconnecting the battery connector and then the 3 top connectors until the screen went dead. Second time round, the screen won’t turn on at all.
Plugging my phone into my PC, I find that the phone vibrates (3 times) and that iTunes asks if I’d like to install an update.
Please help. I’m not sure if I just bricked the replacement screen and need to buy a new one or that my phone is now destined for the recycling centre.
Thanks in advanced, stay safe and stay healthy
