Switch charges in dock, but won’t display on TV

My switch will charge in the dock, and the screen turns blank like it does in docked mode, but no video/sound comes out on the tv. I’ve tried different HDMI cords and even different TVs around the house with no luck

The dock could be the problem. Are you able to try another friends dock if they have one?

None of my friends have switches with docks, is there any other way to check and see if it’s the dock?
