What is the signal source for the TV?
Direct antenna connection or connection to a "box" of some description?
If a direct antenna connection try connecting a different signal source e.g. a dvd player and check if that works OK
If a "box" have you tried a different TV input, input cable, input type e.g. HDMI, Component video (red/blue/green + red/white cable), Composite video (yellow + red/white cable) or even a different signal source e.g. a dvd player to check where the problem may be, the TV or the source or only an input type perhaps?
