I have an LG 65SM9010PLA which is only 4 months old. I have a yeelight strip of LEDs on the back to glow onto the wall. The TV has already started to develop dark area. I have removed the lights and is still there. Could the LEDs have caused this or is it just a faulty TV. It happened to my old TV as well so wondered if this is the issue or just a coincidence

@wh3w4y yes it could be bad backlights. LG has had issues with that. I suggest that you use your warranty to either getting this fixed or replace the TV.
