1 Why does my phone drop when it is only up to my ear?
When I make calls or receive calls normally, my phone will drop the call when its ringing or 15 seconds after answering the phone. I can only answer the phone on speaker or through my headphones. Why is it that it only drops calls when my head is to my phone?
I make sure that my cheek isnt hitting any buttons so I hold it away from my face a little.

Do all other functions work fine, including stereo audio? (Sound should come out of the earpiece when you play something). I’d imagine you have an issue with the front sensor cable. If you know how, you could try and replace the cable. Bear in mind Face ID will NOT WORK with a replacement cable. You might need to send this to someone who does microsoldering.
