Can I transfer memory from broken phone to a new phone, same model?
I broke my screen a while back. the phone still worked but the broken glass was dangerous. I ordered a new screen and tried to fix it myself but it did not work and I broke the screen completely. When I turn the phone on there is just a bright white light. The volume button works, and there is some tactile feedback but the calibration must have gone all wrong because there’s only a response when I tap the bottom of the screen (where there should be no buttons).
So, my phone is perfectly fine and the only problem is the screen. I really want my phone back. I am thinking if I buy a new one, of the same model (only $40), I can transfer the motherboard and sim card and everything will be fine. I have no way to access anything from my phone (did not enable USB debugging, did not back anything up) except by physically transferring it. Please tell me that physically transferring everything is possible. If not the motherboard, what can I take from old phone and swap with new phone? Would I be able to transfer the whole phone-back to the new one, essentially replacing the screen, LCD, etc. while keeping all those individual parts together?
