Have a Macbook Pro 13in Retina Late 2012 A1425 that has a functioning screen.. want to take this screen to replace the broken screen on a Macbook Retina Late 2013 A1502.
Are they compatible?

@guidodavinci these panels are not interchangeable. The wiring is far to different. You will have to try to get the manufacturer label from the back of the actual display panels and compare the datasheet of both of those to determine if it could be made to fit by (possibly) re-soldering the connectors etc.
Here is the connector for the Macbook Pro 13in Retina Late 2012 A1425
and here is the one for the Macbook Retina Late 2013 A1502.

Here is the breakdown:
661-7014 - Is for Late 2012 & Early 2013 13" MacBook Pro
661-8153 - Is for the Late 2013 & Mid 2014 13" MacBook Pro
661-02360 - Is for the Early 2015 13" MacBook Pro

I agree, you guys are right.
I would disagree.
I put late 2013 A1502 screen onto early 2015 machine and worked well.
However, Apple logo and a backlight do not start straight away, but after 7 seconds. Then, all works well.
@Jakub Olszewski the original question was in regards to a Late 2012 A1425 and a Late 2013 A1502 and not a early 2015.

According to PowerbookMedic, no, they are not compatible.
However, oddly enough, if you search for a replacement for the early 2013 (1502), it says it’s only compatible with 2013-2014. However, when you search up a replacement for the late 2012, it says it’s compatible with both late 2012 and early 2013…

Also, everymac.com confirms both screens have the same resolution and DPI, so sounds like they are identical. Only one way to find out I suppose. It’s worth a shot. If it doesn’t work, you’ll have to remove the screen assembly anyways to replace the LCD if you go that route.

It's more complicated than the just the DPI
The displays cables are different lengths and the displays them selves ID strings are different so the display won't be recognized by the Intel graphics engine properly.
You need to stick with the correct display sorry ;-{
@guidodavinci, @danj is the best of the best when it comes to repair technicians on iFixit, so I would take his word. Sounds like they are not actually compatible. Seems like a glitch in the iFixit product listing.
Actually, @danj, second thought, why is it when I chose MacBook Pro 13" Early 2013 on iFixit, and chose the display assembly part, and do the same for the late 2012 retina, it takes me to the same part? I was wrong about what I said in my post.
I've tried something like this before what happens is that at best you may get display but with no backlight because the eDP display lanes / pinout wiring are not the same in different models.
For example the A1502 2013-2014 compared to a 2015 model which is significantly different inside.
Okay, I would understand that, but why do both the Late 2012 and Early 2013 on iFixit both lead me to the same part, 661-7014? @benjamen50 @danj

Thanks everyone for your help. Made a call to the apple store and spoke to a technician that explained that the screens are similar but that the cables on the antenna are not the same and on opposite sides. So the answer is no. They are not compatible.
