Please help he don't work...

Hi !

First sorry for my english...

I will explain my problem with simple words.

I offer 1year ago this Ipod to my girlfriend. Today it doesn't work.

It begins while she was playing games on it. Suddenly freeze, the game doesn't work, the picture on screen don't move. I restart by reset this Ipod. She's playing again, the same game, and... again freeze.

I try to reset the Ipod, without success. And since one week I try to do something with him.

Reset and others manipulations doesn't work.

Since one week I've saw the screen with Itunes logo and the connector, the screen with a low bat, a white (or maybe grey) screen and nothing else.

I've try, in recovery mode to re-install firmwareS, nothing, error 1002...1015...

I've try to jailbreak (never jailbreak-ed!), and I've seen the ananas on IPod, freeze !

I've try Itunes, Tinyumbrella, Pwntool, snow...

The screen works, to these problems everything was OK.

I'm looking for HELP, maybe an ultimate software, maybe a technician guide for apple IPod Touch.

piotrek, the 1002 error is supposedly a hardware error. More on here whereas the 1015 error is caused by attempts to downgrade the iPod touch's software. I would try to once more put it in DFU mode, as shown here then try and restore through itunes once more....and try another Firmware version also. you can get those from here and it also tells you how to do it. I personally use iReb and have better luck with it than the ones you named above. Of course, there is always the possibility that you are starting to have battery issues. So make sure you get a new one if you have to disassemble you iPod. Also check your dock connector of corrosion, bend pins and debris.

Ok, first, thanks for your answer.

DFU Mode always work but I try in Itunes:

3,1,3 =>error 3194

4,3,3 =>not compatible

2,1,1 & 2,2 & 2,2,1 & 4,0 => error 1601

And if I understand your answer, my problem is the battery ?

If I need to change my batt, no matter, but by disassembling the Ipod I while destroy the "joint" around my screen no ?

Next I while try 4, & 4,2,1.

But, I've got a question, ok, maybe my batt is out but while I connect the IPod to a computer he must start and using it ? true or false ?

Dock connector is OK

It does seem like any of the iPod does weird things when the battery is down. I'd definitely start with that
