iMac 2017 (18.3) - Blade model : Mounting brackets needed?

I was asked the possibility to add a SSD drive to a blade only model (18.3 3.5 ghz Retina). Do I need the right and left mounting bracket to install the adaptive 3.5 to 2.5 socket ? Since it’s a blade only model, did Apple put them anyway inside ?

It’s a really good question. I have a fusion, so I don’t know for sure.

You should get some on AMZ, in case, then once you' have the iMac open you’ll be able to decide to use them or return them:
