Audio ic / no service

Hi i have this iphone 7 that i got it from a friend.it was working fine but first the phone fall from the table and broke the screen after couple of more drops the phone got sympthons of broken audio ic then after using it in that condition started to show no service with ! Is it the audio ic that cause no service or something else?

I bring the phone to the service first they told me that they fixed the nand and audio ic only wifi was left after couple of days gone i called them and they told me that the phone cant be repair.So now i got black screen of death and when i try to restore i got error4014

The audio IC does not cause service issues however the root cause here is dropping the phone repeatedly. That causes the small copper traces connecting the C12 pad to crack (Audio IC/Loop Disease). The drops could also have caused some damage to the antenna interconnects or possibly a cracked solder ball under the Baseband PMU or CPU. The logic board needs to be thoroughly inspected and probed to know for certain.

somehow i manged to make the phone work i just removed the logic board put some pressure to bend it.started the phone everything is working now

@refectio after 2 days of use i got the same problems again sometimes the audio is not working sometimes both audio and i got no service

@kakosakash If you had a deep cut in your skin, that it would need stitches to recover, you could use a band-aid as a first emergency measure but you'd want to see a doctor to have it taken care properly as soon as possible. Fixing an audio Ic with pressure it's about the same. It may work for a short while but it's not a repair and pressure may damage other parts as that's not the condition the logic board was intended to work.

Dimitrija, my original answer still stands...you likely damaged some pads and or traces. The Audio IC C12 pad will have to be repaired and the Baseband IC will probably need to be reballed. This is not a trivial repair, especially the baseband IC if it is an Intel chip...lots of undefill :-(.

@refectio this phone really feels weird it has like multiple problems like i gotta wait sometimes like 10min after boot so the wifi will work and i find out that sometimes audio ic and a no service issue work on shifts.So this is my final question Should i repair it or buy a new logicboard?
