replace keyboard with mbp a1261 17'', is it possible?

I would like to replace my a1226 15" US keyboard with an a1261 17" JIS keyboard.

Anyone know if the connector is the same?

I think that dimensions are the same but I don't know nothing about the connector.

No. You cannot use a 17" keyboard for a 15" MBP.

You can use a keyboard from a A1260 - 15" MBP.

Even if the keyboards have different numbers (A1260 - SKU300334 , A1226 - SKU300333) the 15" keyboards are the same.
