My phone is only letting use voice commands for texting can't type let
Need to type for texting and it will only allow voice can’t close that feature

Try reverting your phone’s app settings back to their defaults to undo the setting that is causing the issue. Please go to Settings > System > Reset > Reset app preferences. Tap RESET APPS on the pop-up dialog box that appears. You won’t lose any data by doing this, but all the app preferences will be reset.
