The lower left screen got a hole/cracked - only 15 % of the screen area is effected with left 20% of screen area with lines . Does it need a complete screen replacement or the crack can be fixed . Also, let me know total cost of repair

What model specifically? I think there are 21 MacBook Pro models that match the A1398 model number, you may wish to lookup yours by EMC Number, Model ID, or Serial Number for greater precision.

You’ll need a new display assembly, there is no means to patch the glass.
