My Craftsman ys 4500 20 hp cranks but wont start even with start fluid

I accidentally ran over a chunk of wood and the mower shut down so I figured I sheared the flywheel key and replaced it and the spark plug with no luck I also sprayed starting fluid into the air filter after taking the filter out and nothing happened it just cranks over very fast but won’t start PLEASE HELP !!

Lou C This “I also sprayed starting fluid into the air filter” points to your mower not having a spark. Check on that first. If so, you do want to let us know what the exact make and model number for your mowers engine is.
