2 logic board replaced can't connect to WiFi
Recently replaced the Logic board on my wife’s company A1304. (DOA, no boot, no lights no nothing) Everything boots now and it works great except now I can’t get it to connect to wifi. The icon says no hardware installed. When I go into the advance settings in network preferences and click on the hardware tab the window closes and says there was an error. But when I go to hardware properties it shows that the hardware and software are present. I tried using an adapter to use ethernet and it says the ethernet is connected but all apps says there is no connection to the network. What gives?

So I think I figured it out on my own and decided it would be best if I put an update for others. The logic board I ordered was a used model I found on Ebay. What I did not realize at the time was the serial number was still present on the new board. Now I can not verify my device with apple in order to use iCloud services and the app store. I believe this is what is also causing my wifi card to no longer work.

@frdzla97 The fact the serial number is different from the original one wouldn't change anything, wifi card is a simple part that is not paired in any way with the logic board. You either have a faulty card or more probably some faulty power/data rail on the logic board. You don't say anything about your older set up..was wifi working fine, why did you have to replace the logic board ?

The air was basically dead. No boot, black screen, no beeps. I did get it to boot just long enough one time to see that the wifi was working at the time.
