Display turns itself off and on

Panasonic Tc- P65s60 display turns itself off and back on after a few seconds. There is no blinking red light, just a continous red light while the display is on. The display will stay on and show the picture until I try and navigate the menu, once there is movement in the picture being displayed it turns off then back on after about five seconds. Thanks for any advice. I read just about everything I could find before posting this and nothing was specifically relative.

everydayforgiven could be a firmware issue. Remove all the input sources and unplug your TV. Either leave it unplugged for a while or hold the power button for a minute. After that reconnect your TV but use only a single input source. Let us know what you get.

It works fine with my DirecTV box but once I disconnected DirecTV and connected my Amazon fire stick I'm having the same issue. Now the first solution isn't working either. I'm going to leave it unplugged for a while.

This "It works fine with my DirecTV box" would make it an issue with things other than your TV. If it works fine with one but not the other it's possibly a software issue.
