My phone O+ fell in water
My phone dropped into the water last night. How can I fix it?

wipe away any visible water and clear out water from ports by using a cue tip ,put it in a warm ,dry place then 48 hours later if it doesn’t turn on then go to a repair shop certain shops have water damage repair, but if it turns on immediately go to your computer and back it up

While I agree with wanting to wipe away any water that you can see, it should be noted that you don't want to turn the phone on as you can create shorts and I would suggest getting it to a repair shop as soon as possible to start the water damage recovery process as waiting 48 hours could cause corrosion to start and it's possible that it will be too late to save the device.
im saying if the phone is still on you would want to back up your data as soon as possible because at any moment it could break
