Need Late 2013' 15" MacBook Pro Heat Sink w/brackets Part # for DG

Block Image

Does anybody know the part number to order this heat sink (with the brackets) or at a minimum the brackets associated with this heat sink? I upgraded from a 2ghz 8GB IG Logic Board on an Apple Late 2013’ 15” Macbook Pro to a 2.6ghz 16GB RAM DG Logic Board. When I went to install the new logic board I notice that the heat sink was different. If Ifixit sells it please let me know so I can buy it.

You showed the photo of the heatsink that you need. I am surprise to learn people selling logic boards without heatsink. Every board I sell has heatsink unless it was damaged or lost.

Many people selling the heatsink but they don’t include the spring clamps for these. Too bad I cannot offer the stocked up clamps and heatsink here and better not become a douche lol.

I hope you will be able to find on eBay. Ask the sellers who are selling the heatsink if they have the clamps.

Appears to be a lot of them. Unfortunately I was not aware there was a chance you had to change the heatsink if you changed the logic board as most specs said this logic board was compatible. I do appreciate your response as now I know what they are called. Yes, I think I will have to return this Logic Board, as finding the heat sink clamps is proving to be VERY difficult and it appears nobody sells those clams when then sell the heat sinks. - Ifitit does not even offer them with their heat sinks. Hopefully Ifixit order them on Monday.

I appreciate your response. At least I know what they are called now, “Spring Clamps,” Yes, cannot understand how people are selling the heat sinks without these clamps, nor does it seem like you can order them separately. Hence if you are not aware when you are buying the logic board to ensure these clamps are with it, the board is useless unless you have them already.

Hopefully ifixit can find them for me on Monday otherwise I will need to return the board :-(

Thank you. At least I know what they are called now, Spring clamps. It is amazing, logic boards are not being sold with them, and heat sinks are not being sold with them. So if you do not get a logic board with it already installed, you are going to be hurting trying to find the screws and clamps to connect a separate heat sink to the logic board. Maybe I can get this on Monday on this site.

I have a few saved up. Since it is not a good idea to offer something on the platform selling stuffs as their business I avoid to do so.
