After replacing the battery using the guide here, my MacBook doesn’t make any sound connecting to the power and also won‘t turn on when pressing the power button. Any ideas for what could cause this?? Any help greatly appreciated :) I followed the steps closely and also had the feeling that everything went ok. Thanks in advance!!

Thank you Dan for your Message. I have checked the MagSafe plug with other devices and it seems to be working fine. The color of the MacSafe is silver. I have the suspicion that the new battery is not functional.
Then your connector is bad the connector has an LED in it that is either Amber or Green. If you don't see either color you have a bad connection.
