Why is my fridge making a dripping noise?
In the back of my refrigerator I can hear a dripping noise. I pulled my fridge out and saw it was coming from a clear/white plastic pipe and dripping into the bottom of the metal part of the fridge. Don’t think that it’s the drip pan because it is attached to the frame.
Below are some pictures of what I’m talking about

@Sbongile Lorraine The dripping noise is normal. 60 years ago you wouldn’t have had to listen to the drip drip drip because you’d be defrosting your freezer, full of ice and frost, by hand. It wasn’t a fun job. Messy and time consuming. Now refrigerators defrost themselves. The dripping is the water running into the pan down below. Check your door gaskets for any tear. Make sure it’s sealing when closed. The more tge door is opened, the more frost will build up, meaning more dripping.
