iPhone X antenna repair
Hello, I’m about to buy an Iphone X after back glass repair by some random service, the issue is that the phone cant connect to wifi and loses it’s signal all the time, sounds like antenna is broken, so the repair will be pretty easy.
Is there any risk that there’s an issue with the motherboard or something worse and it will be impossible to repair?
It’s so cheap that I may be able to get my money back just from the parts. Overall condition is good, everything else works, even the wireless charging.

FYI - The antennas are molded into the case! The coax cables & bus bars which connect the logic board to the antennas as well as the screws that hold them are not the antennas. Do take the time to review the IFIXIT Smontaggio iPhone X

I learned how to repair iphones by watching ifixit, also know about the icloud and stuff.
Im just asking if it’s gonna be possible to fix just by changing the antenna parts or if it may be the logic board related issue. What could be broken?

So you're replacing the case? Or just the coax & bus bars?

I’ll start from coax & bus bars, if it’s not gonna work then i’ll try the case. I can get this phone for like the price of oem LCD and cameras. So I will be able to get my money back if something goes wrong.
I talked to the apple service guy and he told me that it might be the baseband issue and it’s pretty common. Do you think that the problem might be motherboard related? Another guy told me that they may overheated the motherboard while removing the glass, so I won’t be able to repair it myself in these two cases.
