The tablet shuts down and freezes up

Hi... I got the Nextbook tablet for Christmas, thrilled to get it... everything has been awful, it's still not registered, I've tried and tried, the tablet shuts down and freezes up, The press on botton is a joke, I constantly have a message that I don't have enough memory, I'm beginning to think that it's just a cheaper version of someone else. Very frustrated... plus not Android/computer savvy, just know the basics. Looking up information to help me fix the problem= confusion. Sick & tired! Please anyone with feedback?? Thanks
