2 Is there any way to open my power adapter?
My Asus g73sw charger adaptor I bought seems in very new condition but as I plug in to the wall the light on the box doesn't turn on. That's why I'm wondering how do you open this type of charger? Just want to see if any capacitors aren't burnt or leaking since that can be causing the problem?
The 2nd picture I believed I some type of screw but not sure if I can removed them since it looks it has a pin in the middle of the screw.

If it is new and there is no output when tested by a Voltmeter, contact the seller about a warranty replacement.
Do not void the warranty by trying to open it.

@jayeff I practically got this charger adaptor for free better than the old one I have since looks new from the outside but most likely has an issue in the inside. Last time I use a multimeteter on it I didn't get the voltage that it was suppose to come out.
