Lcd replacement with universal LCD's

My Xperia device lcd was broken and i didn’t find any replacement LCD for my model.

Can I have any other LCD’s which supports my device.

for eg: If my device has 30 pin lcd connector means only the display designed for my mobile supports it or all the 30 pin connectors supports ?
