The wires from the button battery to the board have come lose. They were “soldered” on.
Can I melt the solder with a soldering iron, connect the wires again, and solder them back on? Or do I just replace parts?

You definitely can resolder the battery to the board, but you need to remove the existing solder and use new.

dont forget the flux when soldering
most solder for electronics has flux inside the wire.
