How to Fix Itunes Error 09 Message

Hi as i asked earlier, i got my Ic chips replaced on my iphone 6plus and i forgot to add it worked for a day or 2 but the screen still flickered and came back when it wanted.

Now the phone wont come out of recovery mode the error is Error 09

Could you please tell me what i would need to replace or do on my phone to fix this problem so i can update or restore the iphone. Also i realised that when i was in the app store downloading a game or updating i would also see the phone restart itself quiet regularly and on the off attempt it would work.

I took the phone back to the phone shop that repaired it, he said there is a probably with the ram and he would need to do some work on it and re calibrate it and all this other nonsense. I dont know if he is trying to scam me for an easy fix or is he actually legit.

Any help on that matter would be much appreciated. Thank you

Is there an actual image of which part needs to be reballed, i watched the video, where abouts on the logic board is the actual piece thats needs to be re-balled?

As I mentioned in my previous reply, there is not much you can do from a DIY perspective here.

Error 9 is a serious error. It may be related to the previous repair or it could just be a coincidental failure of another design flaw in the iPhone 6 Plus, namely, broken traces between the CPU and the EEPROM. That requires that the CPU be ground down in one corner and micro-jumpers be set between the inner die of the CPU and the EEPROM. This is an advanced repair and may or may not be worth doing for an older device like the 6 Plus.

IMHO, the shop should at least do a proper diagnosis of the failure mode and it’s cause and then determine if this is something related (in which case he should do it under warranty) or coincidental (in which case it would be a separate repair).
