My Medion Akoya E3222 screen wont turn on

The screen from my laptop does not turn on but the notebook itself starts up. I'm pretty sure it's because of a 1ft fall but I do not know haw it can affect the notebook because it was a bag with protective sponge. I tried to connect it to an external monitor trough the usb-C port with a adaper from usb-C to HDMI but it says there is no signal, I do not know what to do.
