My MacBook Air would not boot

I haven’t touch my macbook air, 2015 model, in a while days and recently on it.

It shows the classic no battery logo and i plugged in my the power cable. I immediately turn it on after i plugged in. It woke up from sleep and was at the home screen. All went well till i accidentally flip off my magsafe cable off into oblivion, and my macbook shut down. Assuming it had no power, i plug back in the power and it could not boot again.

I charge it for like 30mins and tried turning it on again and it could not. So i just left it to charge longer like 1+hrs to 2hrs and still was unable to on. The magsafe was green at this point so battery was full. So I attempt to discharging by just leaving the macbook alone and charging again to see after a few hours to see if it was able to start up. Unable to start. Seems like battery issue was out

Day 2.

I charged for 30mins (Take note that the battery seems to be drain somehow, idk how, it feels warm at the base when i left it alone though it is off) and I tried resetting the SMC, while the cable was plug in. After releasing it, the magsafe light turn from orange to green and back to orange. However mac was unable to turn on. There was no power on sound on day 1 or day 2 either so lcd issue was also out.

Day 3.

I charged again and wanted to try to troubleshoot with tools i bought.

I notice that the macbook, though not on, was a little warm on the bottom, thus i open up my macbook air and notice that the SSD was kinda hot, even when i unplug the magsafe. It only cool off when i plug out the battery cable to the motherboard. I tried to plug off the battery cable and plug in back again and turn it on, no avail. Took out the SSD and plug in again, no avail.

I believe either something shorted or the sleep mode has some issue and unable to boot up the macbook again. Is it possible basing on my description to be able to diagnose the issue?

Additional information.

Prior to this incident, i had some issues a few months back. My mac was unable to start up as well as, folder with a ?, and i send it to mac diagnostic and they wanted to replace my ssd, but it was too closely so i did not proceed. A few days later, i tried turning it on again, it started to boot normally (my macbook air is bloody temperamental) so i just continue using it.

Only 3+ years old =(

Are you able to boot up your Mac if the battery is unplugged? Unplug the battery, connect the MagSafe and try to boot from only the MagSafe.

Update (11/25/2018)

Disconnect the battery and the mag-safe. Press and hold the power button for ten seconds. Reconnect the battery, then the mag-safe. You should get a spontaneous reboot.
