How do I fix a broken circle pad rubber and all

Hello my circle pad on my New 3ds XL is broken at the rubber and joystick. How easy would it be to replace myself and how would I go about it?

If you need a replacement, you can find one here.

If it does not work at all, contact Nintendo Support to see if you still have a warranty. If you try to fix it yourself, you might brick or break it.

When you get the replacement, you can repair it by following IFixIt’s Repair Guide.

Thanks for the reply John. Yes the joystick still works its just the circle pad top that's busted. So will this guide work for the 2015 3ds xl called the "New" Nintendo 3ds XL?
