How to restore ios when itunes doesn't work

Can someone please help. I dropped my iphone 7 plus the other day and it worked fine then i woke up the next to a itune symbol saying restore with itunes (recovery mode).

I have tried putting the phone in recovery mode and in dfu mode. Itune says its preparing my phone for restore but it just hangs there with that phrase. Could this be because the screens damaged ..pic is included in post. Im running the latest itunes on mojave macos

The drop probably damaged the logic board or one of the major modular components in your phone. I don’t believe this is a software issue.

You could try to open your phone, disconnect the battery and then proceed to disconnect pretty much everything (screen, cameras. sensors, buttons) except the Lightning port. Then reconnect the Lightning Port and connect it to your iTunes enabled computer. If it still boots to recovery mode and fails during recovery, then the odds are you have a logic board issue. This will only work if you have no passcode and have previously “trusted” your computer.

@refectio okay i will try this..so just replacing the screen most likely wont fix this...are any of the parts your refering to take off soldered on to the board

No these are all done with connectors.
