How to remove a flickering horizontal grey line from my screen?

It seems to get worse now. The grey line is now fixed and divides my screen in two when I am not typing.

When I type the line flickers. If I scroll up or down the line does not move or flicker.

The image doesn’t flicker anymore. It just breaks my screen in two.

I have tried moving the cable, the lid… it’s not coming from there. The line is now across the screen permanently.

It might be the LVDS cable or the Lcd panel that has gone bad..if anything happens by moving the lid it’s probably just the cable, otherwise one can’t tell without try and error. If you take a picture and enclose it to your question it might help determining which kind of fault you have. Aggiungere immagini ad una domanda
