USB charging extremely slow after external battery pack quit working
i had a blackweb bwc17w1004 20,000mAh battery pack that while it was plugged into the phone quit working (the charge indicator will not light, no indication of charge when a device is plugged in) now my phone (Samsung Galaxy S7 SM-G930A) takes upwards of 18 hours to charge via USB, (requires the phone to be powered off as it consumes more power then charging can offer) also there is no sync connection when connected to a computer, Wireless charging works fine, the battery is draining 3 times faster since this happen, will replacing the charge port connection on this phone fix this issue, or could it be on the main board, i really don’t want to replace this phone, it has worked so well i have had it for over 2 years without ever factory reseting the phone, it was working great tell this happen, now it’s slow, and the battery drains fast. (normally 8 hours at work would go from 100% to about 40%,, now it’s dead by lunch) since the wireless charging works fine (fast charge appears on the screen and it’s at 100% charge within 2 hours)i am hoping that it’s the charge controller chip that is located on the PCB ribbon at the charge port itself that is blown. if so it will be a cheaper repair then replacement, however most guides i have found show that a new LCD will be needed as well because it’s so difficult to remove that it is destroyed when removed. any advice on this will be greatly appreciated thank you.
