Dishwasher not washing, just filling
Have a brand new Kenmore Model 13222. Fills up, then just sits there, no washing. Can hear it change cycles, then it drains. Not sure what to do

Don’t fix it. It’s under warranty. Who installed it?
This is usually the wash motor but it may just be disconnected.

My son and I installed. Yes, It is under warranty, I will call them. Thanks

If your washer is still under warranty I would contact the company you purchased it from.

I just wiggled wires around the motor and it started up again. Go figure. Not sure if I just need to secure some wires or replace the whole motor. Strange that it’s temperamental. If it didn’t start at all it would be easy to just buy a new motor but if this one still runs sometimes I’d rather get to the bottom of it.
