not starting up my sony vaio y series netbook, coz no power!

my 11.6 in sony vaio y series is not starting up. i pressed the power button at the side but only green illumination from the button is seen. the cause of the broken i think is during the time when power source/electricity shut down. (btw, i dont have battery on my sony becaue its broken and no use at all so i removed it) so when the electricity backed on, i immediately tuned on the laptop/netbook and voila! no more! no longer powering up! i did some trouble shoot, i removed the cmos battery and returned but nothing! what is the main problem? what will i do?
